CAREER SUMMARY:

Spending a lifetime of community service on the Gold Coast with a high level of strategic planning in all aspects of his career and life, being elected to a local government role as Councillor for Division 3, Gold Coast City Council appointed April 2004 – May 2012. Being on the successful Commonwealth Games Council committee for the Games to be held on the Gold Coast in 2018.  This position required a high level of confidentiality, trust and communication across all levels of government and the wider community as well as having established relationships with many of the international delegates and others involved.

• 43 Queensland medals for Surf Life Saving in ironman, rescue and resuscitation (R & R), surf ski’s & surf boats (both as a competitor & coach)

• 3 times State representative having competed in South Africa, United States, Taiwan & Germany
